Russia has chosen Brazil, India and China, known as BRIC, for the first meeting of foreign ministers under the new President. Tatyana Shaumyan from the Institute of Oriental Studies spoke to RT about the significance of such an alliance.

The Foreign Ministers of Russia, China and India have been holding talks in Ekaterinburg. Dmitry Suslov, a political analyst from the Council for Foreign and Defence Policy, joined RT live to give his analysis of the talks.

Talks between the Foreign Ministers of Russia, China and India focused on economic and military co-operation. Deputy Director of the Institute of Asian and African Studies at the Moscow State University Andrey Karneev commented on the issues.
