I do hope the new government would put its people ahead of trying to please their new overloads.

A reply to my friend Oleg.From the last election results am happy to see that most americans do not back the actions of the Bush administration.G Bush government is not the American people as you will like to think.You will find that most people like The USA but not the foreign policies the present government is chasing.

And yes if it was possible to bring back people responsible for atrocities commited during colonial time they should stand trial side by side with those responsible for near extiction of the native american population.but we live in todays world and people responsible for killings of civilians in iraq need to be tried and not just a slap on the wrist as usual.

Am pleased to see that the polish government are pulling their troops out as we are.You alone shall lie in the bed you make.

1. "...to improve Russia-EU relations?" NO
2. To suspend Antimissile project. Most likely yes.
(IMHO, because US Congress reduced Antimissile funding few months ago, so its no longer $$$ attractive).
3. Poland – Russia business & trade relations, maybe, but it will depend on Russia.

Yes! I do expect the new PM and his majority to improve ralations with Russia, but also with Germany and EU,This is a win-win situation for Poland.
Possibly Polish meats and hams will be welcome in Russia again.

Dont think that is the main concern of the new government unless its in their own self interest.Can not fault them for that as that is the first concern of any government. their own peoples interest.After all the new guy says if the AMS is to be deployed,The USA has to pay more for it.Thats self interest.However this and pullng polish troops out of Iraq will not make him many friends in Washington
