GET IT OFF YOUR CHEST - How can we save 'doomsday fanatics' who threaten to kill themselves and their children?

- In the case of this cult.they are not planning to kill themselves but waiting for the world to end.
As many other similar cults they are likely to disband when nothing happens on that date.
So leave them alone.

- Perhaps if you tell them the truth, why their worries are well founded, and let them know that you will protect them in case the things they are hiding themselves from(extreme persecution by the New World Order, mark of the beast, etc) do come into force. But that truth would have to be told to everyone. What would everyone do? It's a good check and balance for society preparedness. The Balkans/Bosnia/Sarajevo surely didn't have it together when doom came there.
Otherwise, those type of fanatics aren't very different from people who send their children into useless wars for false causes. Most likely the threats to kill themselves aren't real now but if you pressure such frightened people to a certain extent, that horror could very well materialize even by accident thru panic.
