Doomsday is a state of the mind in my view-
If and when it comes, it will not come with an advance warning; it will be upon us in an instant and be over in a micro-second "Whoosh..."

However, I have felt, since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the subsequent imbalance of 'our' universe, there are many portents that suggest an actual doomsday may not be as far off as we may want to believe.

The 'war on terror' has suddenly become the 'war on humanity', the emergence of hundreds more nuclear states is on the horizon, there's the false 'Global warming' scenario that stymies human development and above the specter of over inflated egos that have little consideration for human emotions.

The 'Doomsday' in my view for humanity already arrived, the day when a little 'orphan' in the Heart of Baghdad DIED HUNGRY...

Where did the idea of "doomsday" originate?

There are many pages written for the soul to ponder regarding this most serious and imminent time when a series of events will unmistakably be the entrance of "doomsday."

Surely, "global warming" is one indication of looming dreadfulness. Since the sun's effect is center stage in the overheating of planet earth, then, how did ancient writings warn of such a day when mankind would see signs that earth's weather is mutated, suddenly; a time when earth begins threatening to buckle from the heat of the sun?

Is this a sign of the times (of a doomsday approach)?

Did "the Apostle" Luke write regarding 2007 and beyond? in the following message:

"Jerusalem shall be trodden down (overpowered and controlled)of the Gentiles (heathen), until the times of the Gentiles (heathen) be fulfilled."

Is not Jerusalem now controlled by a superpower that preaches peace (ME peace "talks") and practices/promotes/threatens nuclear destruction (polonium 210 bomb!)?

Two thousand years ago, "prophets" also wrote, saying:

"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;"

"Men's hearts' failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth:"

"For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth."

"Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things (no "rapture", though) that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

An ancient record speaks of a promise for , and judgment of, mankind, as spoken of by all the "holy prophets" from "just Abel."

In a world of entertainment at the flick of a switch (electricity to fire the TV/computer/DVDs "programs") it is indeed very difficult to conceive that a change so drastic could/will arrive.

Yet, when sobering news hits headlines (war, cyclones, famine, etc.) our senses are jolted to consider "why does mankind suffer so much." One's soul is moved to meditate on matters such as: "will there really be mass destruction throughout the earth" and "will I survive it"?

Global destruction: how does one prepare for "it"?

Reality: the Creator knows every thought you ever think (He made your brain) and He can choose to heal or to darken your perception of life; and can set you on the course to prepare for doomsday.

Fact: "President" (Ceasar)Bush, possessed by the spirit of the "Anti-Christ", Nero, has a doomsday plan. Nero in Bush will use his power to trigger the end (of life as we know it) with his New World disOrder mandatory RFID computer implant ID system ("in the right arm or forehead"). Bush's plan will be very short-lived.

Nevertheless, the only means an individual will have to resist the effect of "doomsday" (that begins with the upcoming New World Order global terror)_will be to depend on the power that rules the heavens; even the power in the blood of Christ whose Great and Powerful Name is YAHSHUAH ("Yah is Salvation"). This understanding is from Revelation 12:11.

To Satan who exists and is very concerned about "doomsday": Laugh on, Satan, (your laughs are numbered), so are your days.

"Satan knows (about the truth regarding doomsday) and trembles" even as he causes many to disbelieve Christ's warnings of "a day such as never was, nor will be again; a day of great tribulation."

Satan enters the human mind. He is able to cause humans to think that the thoughts he injects into the human mind are one's own, but are not.

More importantly, "The Great Spirit" ultimately rules the human mind (and soul); everyone, being a listener, has a choice to choose to listen to good counsel or to listen to evil counsel. It is an ongoing battle, every day, for the sincere soul (who fears and trusts in the power of the Great Spirit (who has the power to restore the earth to the state of beauty and strength it once was when He created earth "in the beginning."

Extreme flares blasting from the sun (unprecedented extreme events
in 2003, 2005, 2006) reflect those "signs in the sun" that "men's hearts failing them for fear and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth (even greater, more extreme events from the sun, so that)THE POWERS OF THE HEAVENS SHALL BE SHAKEN."

Many souls, in their torment from the heat of the sun will "look up and curse their Creator" because they are without protection or shield from the
terror that will come when judgment (the other doomsday) begins; with many earthly calamities, as prophesied of 2000 years ago.

.."the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, ...in the day that the Creator binds up the breach of his people, and heals the stroke of their wound." Isaiah 30:26

Doomsday for whom? Doom has afflicted our tender Earth for millennia. But when people talk of "doomsday" it is understood to refer to a FINAL struggle when the powerful world controllers make an all-out assault on the powerless. Images of riots, looting, fire, shooting, brutal crowd control techniques, and suffering fill the mind. (Wait!-- sounds like some model democracies in the "war on terror" at home and abroad.)But, on the day after Doomsday, tables turn, and the powerless stand on top and the oppressors relinquish all. (Blow horns to show support!)
