Olga Masalkova

Olga is a business presenter for Russia Today. She has been with the channel since its foundation in 2005.

Olga also does news features from various parts of the former Soviet Union. This has included a series of reports from the breakaway republics of Transdniester and Abkhazia.

Prior to Russia Today she worked as a correspondent for one of the major Russian TV networks, TNT. While studying journalism in Florida, USA, she was an intern at FOX News.

Olga once had to choose between a career as an opera singer and journalist, but she doesn’t regret her choice. She enjoys journalism and thinks it’s one of the most fascinating professions in the world that takes you to the most interesting places, and helps you meet and interview the most extraordinary people.

Olga speaks English, French and German, and holds a diploma with Honours in Foreign Languages and Literature.
