Aleksandra Kosharnitskaya is a political correspondent for Russia Today.
Aleksandra regularly reports from the Kremlin and the Russian parliament, providing first hand coverage of the major political events taking place in Russia, such as the adoption of the controversial law on NGOs and the introduction of military reform.
She reported live on the anti-racist protests in St. Petersburg after the killing of several African students there and made an in-depth analysis of anti-semitism in Russia.
Aleksandra often reports from major international gatherings, ranging from the NATO Summit in Italy in February 2006 to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in China in June 2006.
She regularly interviews Russian politicians and businessmen for Russia Today .
Aleksandra has a degree in French and English language studies from Russia’s Kuban State University.
