Absolutely ludicrous, it would be a disgrace if Russia allowed this monument to be erected and even if they did, i'm sure Lenin would turn in his grave!!! lol
This is the most ridiculous thing I have read in quite sometime. Michael Jackson - Lenin you have to be joking.....Michael Jackson is not even close to being in the same league as Lenin. I know there is approximately 300 million Russian citizens that are getting a good laugh, I am.
The West and its contemptible hirelings will never tire of conspiring to blemish the legacy of Lenin and place him in the rank of ordinary mortals or even murderers. However, those who know their material are not fooled by this constantly operating egregious machination. Once more be it said that for those who possess any intellect and real knowledge of history, Lenin stands at the head of the most venerable world leaders for all time. Just try to list the revolutionary nation-builders of the twentieth century--Mao, Fidel Castro and Che Guevara, Ho Chi Minh, Chavez--and you'll find the greatest fighters for peace, equality, and justice.
Those who possess a feeling for greatness, are forever rewarded with pride by the appearance of such giants in the 20th century. Their detracters are nothing but pitiful ignorants.
The Popes canonize dead fellow Popes and dubious fellow priests like the creator of the Opus Dei, and forget Mother Theresa. The Nobel prize goes to anybody that is "O.K" for western propaganda or even for traitors like Mikhail Gorbachev, and the Swedes would even give it to G.W.Bush or Cheney . Berlin had a "wall" and the israelis are building a "fence". We have mausoleums all over the world remembering the "Holocaust" but we do not see many to the innocent victims in Iraq,Afghanistan,Hiroshima,Vietnam, or the 20 million victims of the Wehrmacht. We do not see many monuments remembering real geniuses of the arts, but we are ready to make of another unfortunate yankee clown whose only talent was to contribute to the western "culture" and the imbecility of the mindless . Money, greed, shallowness, love for fun whatever form it takes is rampant in this world. Stupids are on the rise in this world.
This man was just an entertainer, not a god. Please let him "rest in peace", and remember him via his music. Putting his body on display is grotesque...

They have? Who? I never heard or read anything about people admitting they extorted him for money. Would you trust him to babysit your children?
Lenin is the greatest revolutionary, leader, and political thinker of our time. Michael Jackson may be the greatest entertainer of our time. To each his own. Do what you want with Mr. Jackson's memory. But please, leave Lenin alone. He belongs to the ages.

Although I don't agree with the Red Square monument, I don't even agree with the Red Square period. I don't recall ever reading M. Jackson or his thoughts of utopia killing not one person as Lenin has killed many. Lenin was not a great leader but a great murderer.

Jeeeze, hasn't Russia got enough statues/monuments already???!!? how about something original for a change! How about a new high-speed rail link named after him. "Grand central MJ Station"...or something.
Communism is not the point and neither is ART, in this idea of a place to rest for the peace and kindness he was, Michael Jackson. The true artists of the world (KANDINSKY, et al.) need to be FIRST IN LINE for what this rich Russian wants to erect in honor of the instrument of the "HOLLOW BAMBOO" for creative energy.
Pathetically the Michael Jacksons of the world (modern technological magical performers) are nothing BUT, iconography for the brand sellers of mostly poisons to addict any and all innocent personalities to spend, spend, spend and shop till dropping (see LONDON "spree for fish & chips, etc." by the new Royal American family).
Consumerism in billions and billions of faux shining baubles is anything BUT, culture.
Just ask any spirit who has ascended from their mortal coil and was a genuine genius of being the instrument of love - material manifestation is the byproduct.
Michael Jackson did not father his own children, and the stories about his practices as a human being more than prove he was anything BUT, a healthy, balanced person who could afford to raise a child with such tortured realities in life - anything BUT, "peace and kindness."
Why does the world need more shrines for those who have taken the child and manufactured a world that is fantasy-land ugliness, AND the abomination of this cannot be stressed enough so why continue providing the future children of earth with the wrong idea/s?
CLASSICAL is anything BUT, Michael Jackson. His ghost artists deserve the pyramid monument.
