Russian Soyuz spacecraft docks at the ISS

The Russian Soyuz spacecraft, with three people onboard, has successfully docked at the International Space Station.
Onboard are Russian commander of the 19th ISS mission, Gennady Padalka, American flight engineer Michael Barret, and American billionaire Charles Simonyi, the first ever repeat client for the space tourism industry.
Three people are in the ISS – they will be joined by the three in the Soyuz spacecraft after the docking is complete and the hatch is opened.
The Soyuz launch vehicle blasted off from the Baikonur space station in Kazakhstan 2 days ago.

And while new ISS residents were settling into the ISS, Shuttle Discovery and its crew of seven successfully landed at Cape Canaveral at 15:14 EST (1914 GMT) on Saturday.
During their 13-day mission the astronauts performed three space walks, during which they installed solar panels and installed a global navigation system antenna on the Japanese module, Kibo.
Discovery undocked from the ISS on Wednesday. The shuttle returned American astronaut Sandra Magnus to Earth. She spent 134 days in orbit.
