U.S. flagship docks in Poti

“Mount Whitney”, the flagship of the U.S. Navy's Sixth Fleet, has docked in the Georgian port of Poti, claiming to be carrying aid to Georgia.
Moscow officials have raised questions about whether the ship has legitimate grounds to enter the Black Sea. It is the third U.S. military ship enter the area recently. Russian officials have expressed the opinion that the vessel may be carrying weapons. They have, however, suggested that it may coordinate the investigation mission in the Black Sea.
