Eleven cult followers hold out in collapsing bunker

Poor weather forecasts for the next few days in Russia’s Penza region have heightened concerns that a bunker where a doomsday cult is holed up could completely collapse. Meanwhile, the group’s spiritual leader remains unconscious in hospital after a reported suicide attempt two days ago.
Eleven hardcore members of the cult are enduring worsening conditions in the underground hideaway after flood water from melting snow caused sections of the bunker to collapse. Earlier cave-ins prompted more than 14 people, including children, to give up their sit-in.
Those remaining in the cave are keeping to a 'vow of silence' and are believed to be assessing their options.
The cult believes the world will end in May.
