Fierce blaze causes serious damage in central Moscow

More than 30 fire engines attended a blaze at a three-storey building in central Moscow. The fire destroyed 600 square meters of the building which was situated on one of Moscow's busiest roads.

Five people were saved and no serious injuries were reported.

The fire begun at rush hour which paralysed traffic in the capital's centre for several hours.
