Around the world in 13 years

Published 07 October, 2007, 02:22

A UK adventurer Jason Lewis has completed his 13-year voyage around the globe. He is the first man ever to take such a journey without using trains, cars, planes or motor powered boats.

On what Jason Lewis called a “wildly romantic quest” the traveller has encountered a crocodile, almost drowned and was arrested as a suspected spy.

Jason Lewis has covered the distance of 74,000 kilometres, crossed two oceans and visited 37 countries.
