Russia's Supreme court has ordered the retrial of three men accused of murdering a high profile journalist in Moscow. American Paul  was gunned down after walking out of his Forbes magazine office in 2004. He had written extensively about corruption in Russia.

The Supreme court's finding followed an appeal by Khlebnikov's family. They had claimed procedural breaches occured during a previous trial, which found the three men not guilty. A new trial of the three is expected to begin in the Moscow City Court soon.
