Russia's partnership agreements with Abkhazia and South Ossetia will protect the lives of people who live in those regions close to Georgia, says Sergey Markov, Member of Parliament for the United Russia party. Georgia is led by a “war criminal and ultra-nationalist who said many times he was going to impose Georgian power on Abkhazia and South Ossetia by military force”, he said.
