The legendary Buena Vista Social Club (the famous Cuban musicians) have visited Moscow before, but hundreds of people have still come to admire their mastery. Those who have heard the rhythms of the Cuban music just once don’t remain half-hearted about it; so during the festivals, people of very different ages can’t resist dancing.

The famous band’s history starts in the 1940s: musicians-experimenters gathered in a club and mixed up various music styles – mambo, jazz, cha-cha-cha and pachanga. After the Cuban revolution, the musicians were forgotten, but they reemerged again in 1990. Their first record was released in 1997 and since then, their tunes have been sung, hummed and crooned all over the world.
The only thing that might upset Cuban music-lovers is the entrance fee. The cheapest tickets cost around $40 whilst VIP tickets will be available for an astounding $850!
