Zeppelin invasion: From Venice to Moscow

A Mexican artist has created a life-sized copy of a zeppelin which he sandwiched between two buildings in Venice.

Hector Zamora’s work has been presented at the 53rd Venice biennale. It was inspired by the romantic tradition of air balloon festivals that used to be held in the city of lovers in the beginning of the last century.

Those who missed Zamora’s zeppelin invasion in Venice now have a chance to catch it in the Russian capital.

The trailblazing artist based in Brazil brings his exhibition to Moscow where he will expose his zeppelin models at Dasha Zhukova’s Garage Center for Contemporary Culture on June 15.
