Supporters would sell soul to see Obama

Following the victory in Dixville Notch, supporters will be getting even more excited about Obama's ‘Victory Party’ scheduled for Tuesday night in Grant Park, Chicago.
In his home city, more than one million people are expected to turn up to watch the results come in. But only a lucky 65,000 will be allowed into the official area to see him on stage – those who received free tickets through a lottery as Obama’s financial donors.
And with some people ready do almost anything to get a ticket, it may turn out to be the largest party in the country.
But die-hard fans aren't giving up that easily – offering cash, labour and sympathy stories for a chance to get through the golden gates. Some even flew in from Europe on the slight chance of glimpsing the Politico Rock Star.
Call it obsession or infatuation – it seems the U.S. Senator may have unseated Elvis from his thrown.
Websites have been swamped with demands by people prepared to pay hundreds of dollars for tickets. One advert offers free tickets only open for women who submit pictures.
Those short on cash are offering massages, technical support, language lessons and someone is even auctioning off their soul.
Obama fans without a ticket to the bonanza will gather in other areas of the park. Organisers say up to one million people will camp out over 69 acres of land. Five jumbo TVs will be rolled out for viewing and if election results turn out the way Obama supporters hope – the sound of Chicago will echo for miles.
Win or lose, Chicago's hometown hero is marking a moment in history on Tuesday night.
The crowd may be divided by fences – but it's very much united.
