Russian crash hits hopes for Volvo Ocean Race

The around the world Volvo Ocean Race warm-up in the Spanish port of Alicante has seen one of the worst possible starts for Team Russia. Its yacht, Kosatka, was damaged in a crash with another boat, and now faces a quick repair job before the start of the race in earnest.

Spanish yacht Telefonica Blue claimed a double win on the day, to the delight of the home fans.
