I believe that this would be a poor decision by the government, I myself listen to emo and goth music and have many friends who are "emo". In my experience, these subcultures cause the least trouble, being non - violent people who accept anyone for who they really are. The notion that these subcultures encourage suicide and depression is rather abstract. surely by expressing their emotions through fashion and music, these individuals do not "bottle up" their emotions resulting in violent outbursts. For this reason I believe that the emo and goth sub cultures are nothing to worry about and instead of an attept to ban these subcultures it might be wiser of the russian government to encourage freedom of expression. I am british but really admire the russian government for its good leadership and strength and would be quite dissapointed if a bill banning this freedom of expression was to be passed.

That is awful. Emos and goths are inteligent, creative people who accept people and nobody has the right to deny that. Its a lifestyle, you cant correct a life style. The only reson goths and emos are depressed is because they have to indure teaseing like this. Please, everyone who reads this be nice to goths and emos because tjey truely are quite loveing people.
