Would you people learn how to read? this article is about the Presidents brother, not about what the President does or don't do, and if you are already on the subject of where the country is going, would you like Bush back ? He was republican like you guys who complain about Obama, and you didn't like him either. What is it that you want ? A magic wand to fix everything with, in one second. It's impossible to fix what Bush did in his eight years, in less then a year. Grow up people, work with the president, give him a chance, at least his first four years, then see if you can elect your Magic Wand, and fix it all. Let's see anyone of you work with what he has inherited from the one you elected before him. One thing is for sure, your pissing and moaning does not help this country to go anywhere.

It saddens me to see the emotional outbursts of extreme thinking in attacking our President who was handed one of the worst economic situations ever in history. Because of the decisions made and laws passed over the last 15 years, the United States is in near economic shambles. The tax cut to the upper income group has cost America approximately 1 trillion dollars of lost revenue over the last 8 years. The bill passed by the congress and the Bush administration for health insurance was an open check to those companies. Our comptroller of the United States (no political leanings) has factually reported that we have to change health care costs including medicare, social security and the cost of supporting 30 plus illegal immigrants in the next 5 years or we will be bankrupt with all the baby boomers reaching retirement age. People are reacting in anger and fear based on a small number of people who are leading the sheep to radical unsubstantiated conclusions. Now is the time for all of America to acknowledge that there were many mistakes made in the past few years and especially in the last 10 which brought us to this point and we need to unite and move on to solutions! That means all of us working this out instead of the ranting and emotional accusations. I call it the Palinism and Limbaughism type of thinking which does not bring our country together and moving forward. Please, people, think about how we can work our way out of the messes our congress and previous leadership has brought us to. STOP the name calling and irrational scare tactics. DO something and support changes to make our country run better and less corrupt.

First, the article is about Obama's half brother who is a grown man at age 26. He chooses to live where he does, and how he wants to. Obama has no control over that. Second, the article doesn't seem to have much meat to it. No picture of George or his shack. No quotes from the man about his chosen lifestyle. No depth, no information on his chosen profession, if he has one. What kind of journalism calls that simple set of paragraphs a real story? It's hardly worth reading. I was terribly disappointed. Third, I think I am most appalled by the comments supporting Obama here. It seems that the commenters, for the most part, are barely literate. While I understand we have a problem with basics, especially for some of the generations that are now adults, but were part of the high school drop-out generations, I think it is pitiful to see people ranting their support without looking up some basic words. Not spelling them right, or having good punctuation screams a need for better education. It is SO hard to take one seriously, or believe that someone so illiterate could have a clue to how things really work. I assume those who can't spell or write with basic punctuation are also the ones with their hands out asking for free medical, free food, free housing. Here we get to my fourth point, we in America have a free enterprise system. No matter where you come from, you can rise above it. Some people work three jobs to make their bills and take care of their families. It's so unfair that there are some who would work that hard, and end up having a large portion of their money taken in taxes to take care of the beggars expecting handouts. That said, I want to clarify a point...women who are alone in the world, whether abandoned, divorced, or widowed, needing help to get on their feet are people I believe should receive help. Disabled people, too. I don't grudge those in need getting help. But Obama can't take care of every freeloader type out there, even if one is his brother.

I am so sick and tired of hearing all the negative things about President Obama, When reading some of these opinions and comments, I have to wonder if it really balls down to him being black. President Obama has done nothing but worked towards bettering this country and bringing us togather as American togather, WE ARE OUR OWN WORST ENEMY, because we won't do what needs to be done, and when someone else try, we kick them . Before you continue to degrade him, maybe you should look back at some of our former presidents, and then like Micheal Jackson song states, Try looking at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself what are you doing to make this country better, try volunteering for a day at a hospital or go visit an orphanage and see all the people that our former presidents did not think about. better yet go by a Vet Center, that ought to take you way back to when OUR problems really started. This is my first time to read the comments being made on this site and I find it so hard to believe the ignorance in understanding what is happening in the USA. I fear for my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I do not think our forefathers ever envisioned a socialist America. So I disagree vehemently with his methods. But what does his brother have to do with fixing our government. Let's stay on the high road; recognize that the man cares. He is totally naive about the government providing for the people.

Well I think if the people of the USA and across the world just like everyone soak up all the bs that presidents before President Obama feed us all the raw deals that lead the war and all that isn't adding to the right issues that effecting whats going on in the world and since MR.Obama said he was running then went everything else that was found to be untrue about him but he is giving the world the real deal on 85%of everything he know to be true fact about the nations and you'll so blindsided to the real fact what's really going on with the USA but so quick to pass judgement on the president Obama when he was at the 100 days in office but if you can go 8 straight years with bush lies and deception then let's give president Obama his chance and one thing i do know is that if you trying to make a strawberry milk drink then it depends on how strawberry you'll would like it so that means that he is working on everyone else screw up and it's not his so he need to work on something to find out what would work and atless with him we can have our input but we were told what we are going to do as the other president told us what going to happen and when they had all the information on everything that might happen to the USA but didn't care to share until it was a little too late and lives too late has been lost but if you'll that trying to pass judgement president Obama was up close and real personal about what he know just ease up on him and as the song said we are the world and not president Obama himself.

This is a personal and private matter based on many factors. Some people are able to do it and some are not.
