Swede Mikael Lundberg has won the Inteco Russian Open Golf Championship in Moscow for the second time. He survived a late wobble during the final round to beat Spain's Jose Manuel Lara by two shots.
Mikael Lundberg claims he didn't play well, allowing Jose Manuel Lara to put him under great pressure in the final round.
With four holes to play Lara had a one-shot lead, but he bogeyed his next, and by the 16th they were all square. Lundberg birdied the next two holes to open up a two-stroke lead over his Sapnish rival.
Lundberg finished with a final round of 68 for an overall 21 under par, with Lara on 19 under. It was the Swede's second triumph in the Russian Open, having first won the tournament in 2005.
Third place went to England's Benn Barham who finished 18 under.
