Garden beauty on display in Moscow

Garden beauty from glossy magazines has been brought to reality. The Week of Gardens is an annual landscape exhibition in Moscow, organised by the lifestyle magazine Mezzanine. The main theme of this years event is water.
The week of gardens has become a must-visit annual event for both those interested in landscape design and city-dwellers too busy to leave Moscow, but who want to enjoy summer closer to nature.
The event offers live music, swings and cushions and a play ground for children.
“The idea of our project is dreams. It's all about a town-dwellers' dreams of a splendid comfortable bed in the open air, surrounded by flowers and getting pleasure from being close to nature,” Art Director of a design company Alla Chubarova said.
Still, the main aim of the event is to introduce fashionable landscape designs and create them for real.
And building materials are not the only thing being sold, ideas are also in great demand.
“The philosophical concept of my living is to bring beauty into the world. I am always happy when people borrow our ideas and create the designs themselves, and not with the help of our architects,” landscape architect Ilya Vasetsky said.
