Seagulls terrify church parish

Two seagulls which settled on a church roof in the English town of Bodmin have been repeatedly attacking the vicar and the congregation for the last two weeks. To protect himself from the fearsome birds, Rev Canon Graham was even forced to wear a hard hat, the British Daily Mail newspaper reports.
The over-protective pair stand on guard of their fledgling and dive-bomb everyone who they spot coming close to St Petroc’s church. Unsuspecting prayers and mourners are not the only ones to have come under attack. The church – the largest one in the constituency of Cornwall – is also a popular tourist attraction.
Some churchgoers have been bringing bowls of tuna fish with them to bribe the gulls and enter the church unhurt.
The vicar hopes the birds will calm down when their young grow up and leave the nest.
