Six hour spacewalk for Russian cosmonauts

Published 16 July, 2008, 05:35

Two Russian astronauts on the International Space Station have finished a spacewalk that has lasted six hours. It's the second spacewalk for Sergey Volkov and Oleg Kononenko.

They installed equipment for an experiment on the exterior of the service module and checked an antenna.

Their first unplanned spacewalk was four days ago. They had to remove an explosive bolt from the Soyuz descent capsule, which could have caused trouble during re-entry to Earth.
