Moscow hosts Powerboat Class 1 Grand Prix

The first Russian Grand Prix, Class 1 World Powerboat Championship has been held in Moscow. The Dubai team Victory 1 have continued their triumphant streak winning their third out of three starts in the current season.
Class 1 Powerboat Racing is considered the ultimate pursuit of man and machine against his oldest rival – the sea. The world championship campaign travels around the world. Finally, the Grand Prix has made its debut in the Russian capital.
The Moscow course is very narrow ,and shorter than others, so many observers compare it to the Monaco course in Formula One.
From Russia, the extravagant and thrilling Class One world powerboat racing moves on to the Norwegian fjords. The next Grand Prix there will be held on July 20, and at the halfway point in the competition everything is still wide open.
