Lovestruck Abramovich splashes out on girlfriend

Russian tycoon Roman Abramovich has surprised his girlfriend, Daria Zhukova, with a $US 14 million statuette.
Britain's 'Daily Telegraph' newspaper says the owner of Chelsea Football Club bought the female bronze figure by the Swiss sculptor Alberto Giacometti at an exhibition in Switzerland.
A Russian newspaper recently estimated that the billionaire has spent more than $US 60 million on his 26-year-old girlfriend in the past month.
Socialite Daria Zhukova is known for her love of art and fashion. She's already made her name in the clothes industry after launching her own designer label.
Darya is the leading designer of ‘Kova & T’, a fashion house specialising in expensive women's outfits.
She is due to open a gallery, the Centre for Contemporary Culture, in Moscow this month.
