Moscow ready for English invasion

Later this month tens of thousands of English football fans will descend on the Russian capital. The city's Luzhniki Stadium is staging the European Champions League final, which this year is being contested by the English clubs Chelsea and Manchester United.
It’s the first time in the history of the tournament that two English clubs will be playing each other in the final.
More than 40,000 English fans are expected to come to Moscow for the event. Tickets have been going up in price, some reaching up to 3,000 euros.
Meanwhile, Russian consulates in the UK are being flooded with so many visa applications they are finding it difficult to cope.
Accommodation could also be a problem for travelling fans. While there are a lot of five-star hotels in Moscow, the city lacks budget ones. Almost all of them are already booked up and it’s difficult to find a room.
