Heat builds for Chelsea & Arsenal bosses

As the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals approach, Chelsea boss Avram Grant and Arsenal manager Arsene Wegner are being put under increased pressure to steer their sides into the semis.

Grant, who is yet to win a trophy and the fans' support after replacing José Mourinho at the helm of Chelsea, may lose it all.

The Blues slumped to a disastrous 2-1 loss in the first leg against underdogs Fenerbahce after being handed the lead by the Turkish champions' own goal.

Though Chelsea enjoys the home advantage, Grant is expecting a tough game.

“They have a good team and good players; they know how to play good football. They have had very good result until now, good result against us. We expect a very good game against a very good team,” confessed Grant.

The pressure is also on Arsenal's longest-serving manager ever Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners prepare for their third match-up against Liverpool in a week.

They have drawn 1-all both in the Champions League and the English Premiership, but will to emulate their success of 2007 when they made the final.

Wegner is brimming with confidence before the showdown at Liverpool.

“We will try not to play the game to go to penalties – we will try to play the game to win it,” Wegner said.
