Spanish artists shock Moscow

They say art has no boundaries, leaving creators and performers free to use everything from security technologies to digital video to produce interesting work. The Colectivo Anatomic theatre have traveled from Barcelona to show Muscovites what contemporary European art is all about.

In recent years art has made several attempts to depict the strange sensation of a ‘panic attack’ on screen. They all share similarities in that they use weird and disturbing noises along with scary images to produce an unsettling effect.

A multimedia and dance show called ’Raw’, presented in Moscow by the Colectivo Anatomic, uses some of the same techniques.

Most remarkable is the use of palm-held computers by the actors on stage.
