Dress to impress: retro man reigns supreme in Moscow

Russian fashion week is in full swing at Moscow's world trade centre, its walkways transformed into catwalks. It was all about the boys on Monday with about six collections by different designers on show.
The latest collection by the Russian designer Leonid Alexeev is based on classical British cuts.
Shades of sand and stone dominate. Coats are made of real Scottish fabrics, with a strict and buttoned-up look.
In contrast, the creations of well-known Russian designer, Max Chernitsov, are lighter and brighter. His collection, called Power, is inspired by the hexagon, as Chernitsov believes this shape adds energy to the outfits and their wearers.
The show French 50-year-old French fashion house Francesco Smalto was the highlight of men's day. But this man’s collection was created by a woman. Designer Youn Chong Bak turned to the elegant atmosphere of the 1920s for inspiration.
This season's clothing eliminates the distinction between casual day and gala evening looks. And whatever you're dressing up for, Smalto's tailors make sure you'll feel comfortable.
They stay true to the principles of the brand's founder, who believed that the ideal suit should be fitted to the body.
