Cosmonauts are putting the finishing touches on their preparations for the launch of the next Soyuz shuttle to the International Space Station.

In Russia's Star City, the cosmonauts have been joined by the first ever Korean cosmonaunt for final tests and examinations before the space launch.

Lee So-yun is a replacement for her countryman, who was dropped from the programme for breaking training protocol.

Soyuz will blast-off from Baikonur in Kazhakstan on April 8 for the 17th mission to the ISS.
