‘Dad of the dead’ comes to Moscow

One of the most celebrated American horror film directors, George Romero, spoke exclusively to RT about his new movie during a visit to Moscow.

George Romero directed his first feature when he was just 28 years old in 1968. Made on a low budget, the movie called The Night of the Living Dead became a cult classic, loved by millions of horror film fans.

Romero went on to scare, shock and startle people for more then 40 years through movies like Dawn of the Dead (1978), Day of the Dead (1985) and Land of the Dead (2005).

His latest movie, The Diary of the Dead, one of the most anticipated horror films of the year has just premiered.

It follows a group of film students as they record some of the most bloody and scary events happening in the world around their friends and families.

One of them records a disaster on his camera – in what becomes a diary of cruelty.
