Sudan: learning to smile after years of fighting (Part 3)

Sudan is Africa's biggest country and the tenth largest in the world and has seen endless conflicts. It emerged from a 21 year civil war between the mainly Muslim North and the Animist and Christian South.

The United Nations has been in the region since 2005 to monitor a peace agreement. Russian peacekeepers play a key role in bringing stability to the area.
