Extreme Moscow struts its stuff

Published 13 December, 2007, 00:19

The Russian capital has hosted its first ever extreme sports festival where several disciplines were combined into one breathtaking show of skills. Moscow's small Luzhniki arena was packed with spectators in search of adrenaline.

It all started with freestyle motocross, where riders, pumped up by the cheering crowd, jumped high in the air performing various tricks.

But the main event was shifting a ten-tone limousine.

Team Europe was the fastest in both competitions and took the top honours at this competition.
