Masters of disgusting art come to Moscow

The controversial work of two Britons, known as masters of ‘disgusting’ art, is being shown in Moscow. Jake and Dinos Chapman came to prominence in the 1990s. One of their works, Hell, sold for around one million dollars.
Many art fans still aren’t sure if they aim to terrifying audiences or make them laugh?
The Chapmans deny they aim to shock and say their work discloses the real horrors of the world.
“It's very literal to think these things are like the world, because they are not. They absolutely lack reality. The world is so very nice and we offer balance! We'd love to see people leave the exhibitions crying!” Jake Chapman says.
“I think the problem is we are very prepared to go and watch movies, while visual art has to reflect reality,” Dinos Chapman adds.
In Moscow's “Triumph” gallery, where viewers are let in only by calling ahead, a brand new series of works by the artists is on show.
