Moscow fashion goes underground

Published 10 November, 2007, 23:12

A Soviet-era military bunker in central Moscow has become the latest location in the capital to stage a trendy fashion show.

Dozens of Moscow ‘fashionistas’ flooded the underground bunker near Taganka to see a new collection from a group of young Russian designers.

The idea is the brainchild of a group of young designers who call themselves “White.Trash.For.Cash”. The four women and one man are best friends, who joined forces a few years ago to create their own line of clothing.

The bunker is set to become one of the must-go destinations for Moscow socialites.
