Fighting for fun - old Russian tradition

Published 05 November, 2007, 19:36

Men from the Russian city of Yekaterinburg in the heart of the Ural Mountains have had a rare chance to show off their masculinity.

According to an old Russian tradition they lined up in two so-called walls holding each other tight and facing their rivals. Minutes later the two walls run as fast as they can crashing into each other trying to overturn the enemy wall.

It seems you can't be too young to take part.

While the women have chosen a more peaceful way of entertaining themselves, it's never clear who exactly is the winner.
