Art is a piece of cake

Vik Muniz made a name for himself as an artist who can turn apricot jelly into real art.
He focuses on chocolate, peanut butter and even caviar as well as glass, stone and garbage.
Brazilian-born artist Vik Muniz is famous for recreating images of pop culture using unconventional materials. Sugar, ketchup – anything inspires him but especially chocolate syrup which he once used to produce a recreation of Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting 'The Last Supper'.
Carl Marx made out of caviar. Mona Lisa made out of peanut butter. Elvis Presley in chocolate syrup. For Muniz modern art is a marriage of technology with a sense of humour. His creations have been exhibited at some of the world's best galleries including New York's Guggenheim museum.
