Zinaida Medvedeva

 Zinaida Medvedeva is a business correspondent for RT.

She joined the channel at its launch and proceeded to cover some of the top financial stories, such as the IPO of Rosneft. She has interviewed leading political figures as well as heads of international companies.

Before coming to Russia, Zinaida gained experience in journalism by working in print media. She got her first TV job in Russia at MTV.

Zinaida graduated from Moscow State University, majoring in economics and Asian studies. She also studied at Hosei University, Tokyo.

In her spare time Zinaida enjoys photography, traveling to faraway places and extreme sports, such as scuba diving.

She speaks English, German and Japanese.
